Duck blood cake

Cooked duck blood cake is the most famous feature of the Phoenix local dish, both rich in taste and flavor, tenderness and scent, spicy and heavy to the mouth, giving an appetite, really a rare tasty.

Sour fish

In the Miao Village, a popular specialty dish commonly known is the glutinous rice salted fish. The glutinous rice salted fish can be parched, fried, grilled, steamed with small red pepper. But the fried tastes the best. The salted glutinous rice fish has very high nutritional value, is the superior Miao hospitality delicacy.

Guanguan mushroom (Porcini mushroom)

Guanguan mushroom, also known as Rohan mushroom, also known as bovine stomach mushroom, generally growing on shady slopes in the alpine area of Lar mountain, like sun light. Guanguan mushroom contain protein and vitamins B, good for  human health, harvest time usually in the late summer and early autumn during high sun, also in September and October, after plucked and processed manually, left dry under the sun, carefully stored to preserve its color and flavor. Cooking mostly is with water, with the stewed tastes the best. Guanguan mushroom contains high nutrition, it is the local Lar mountain native specialty.

血粑鸭子

鸭子煮血粑是凤凰最著特色的地方菜,鸭子煮血粑既有鸭肉的鲜美味浓,又有血粑的清香糯柔,吃起来到口香浓,食欲大增,真是稀有的人间美味佳肴。

酸鱼

在苗寨,是最常用和盛行的一种名菜是糯米俺酸鱼。糯米腌酸鱼有几种吃法,即可以炒吃、油炸煎吃、火烤蒸吃、小炒红椒吃等。但尤以油炸煎吃最佳。糯米俺酸鱼,营养价值极高,是苗家待客的上乘美味佳肴。

罐罐菌

罐罐菌,又名罗汉菇,也叫牛肚子菇。盛产在高寒山区腊尔山一带。罐罐菌喜阳光,一般生长在背阴山坡上。罐罐菌含有高蛋白和维生素B,对人体的健康有十分好处。罐罐菌收检时间多在夏末初秋的高温天气,九、十月份也生长。收检后的罐罐菌通过人工加工以后,晒干晾,认真收藏,可保鲜色美味。吃罐罐菌有几种吃法,即煮吃,尤以拌猪肉炖吃为最佳。罐罐菌营养价值极高,它是当地腊尔山台地的一种土特产。
